DISABLED VETERANS COMPENSATION - Jim Colyer

Disabled veterans compensation needs to be increased. 100% or "total and permanent" is currently $2299 a month. It is not enough. Gas prices have doubled. Everything else is going up. A new generation of disabled vets is returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. How will these men survive? They face a bleak future without assistance from the federal government. Some may be on the street with no food and no job. Legislation needs to be introduced in Congress to increase the amount of money awarded to disabled veterans. Jim Colyer
